RECOGNITION OF CITY OF MARGATE PARAMEDIC HUGO REYES
The Mayor read a letter of commendation to Paramedic/Firefighter Hugo M. Reyes, who was present. He was accompanied by Margate Fire Chief Frank Porcella and Coconut Creek Fire Rescue Administrator Steve Pollio. Mr. Pollio presented Paramedic Reyes with the Fire Administrator's Award for Outstanding Service, and Chief Porcella made brief remarks regarding Paramedic Reyes and the successful partnership between the City and Margate in providing fire/paramedic services. The Mayor also recognized Margate Vice Mayor Pam Donovan and Commissioner Joe Varsallone. Commissioner Varsallone commented on the partnership with the City of Margate, commended the City of Coconut Creek, and recognized other Margate firefighter/paramedics who were present.
